For over 25 years, Erban Corner has been a locally owned luxury womenswear boutique at the heart of the Kitchener-Waterloo community. We curate designer fashion from around the world—including brands from Spain, Greece, and beyond—chosen for their craftsmanship, quality, and distinctive point of view.

Our Story
Erban Corner first opened in 1999 on Erb Street in Waterloo, below the Waterloo hotel—where the boutique gets its name. Founded by Susan Babb and Ina Passerelli, the store was established with a clear focus on quality and refined design. In its early years, Erban Corner specialised primarily in formalwear and polished office attire, offering women timeless pieces designed to elevate their professional and special-occasion wardrobes.
As the boutique grew, it relocated to its current location and evolved alongside its clientele. While the collection has expanded to include a wider variety of luxury womenswear—including statement pieces, casual elegance, and high-quality outerwear—the core philosophy has remained unchanged. Quality, fit, and craftsmanship continue to guide every buying decision.
Approximately a decade ago, Erban Corner entered a new chapter when the boutique was acquired by Pashalina Townshend, a longtime customer who understood the store not only as a retailer but as an important part of the local fashion community. Under her ownership, Erban Corner has continued to grow thoughtfully—balancing timeless luxury with a more expressive and modern assortment, while remaining deeply rooted in Waterloo.

We regularly collaborate with and support organisations such as HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre, Grand River Hospital, and Langdon Hall for local charity galas and fundraisers. These partnerships reflect our belief that a local business should actively contribute to the community it serves.
